Jazmin Willingham (District 5)

Jazmin Willingham is originally from Maywood, IL. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from Tuskegee University in 2012 before going on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Faulkner University, Jones School of Law in 2016. Mrs. Willingham and her husband relocated from Alabama to the metro Atlanta area in 2021 to be closer to family and made Henry County their home in December of 2023.

Mrs. Willingham has dedicated her life to service. She began her career in service by working with the Alabama Rural Coalition for the Homeless in 2012 where she traveled all over the state of Alabama assisting survivors of the April 2011 tornados. Mrs. Willingham then went on to serve with Legal Services of Alabama before going on to become a prosecutor for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. She began her service in Georgia as a Prosecutor with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. Over the years Mrs. Willingham has served on the Montgomery County Multidiscipline Team, Montgomery Children’s Policy Council, and the Montgomery County Child Death review. She has volunteered with several domestic violence organizations both here in Georgia and in Alabama as well as serves with a local food pantry. Mrs. Willingham brings more than 10 years of community service and legal experience and is eager to serve as the District V representative for the Henry County Board of Ethics.
