Henry County Board of Ethics in McDonough, Georgia is an advisory department that aims to ensure maintains the highest ethical standards of the county government.
We use both precautionary and reactionary measures to guarantee that every member of the government exhibits the integrity that is expected of them. These measures also allow us to maintain the public’s trust in the local government and its mechanism.

Our department trains county employees and officials on the matters of ethics, why it’s important, and how it affects their day-to-day activities. We conduct classes for new and existing members so that every part of the government maintains the highest standards
Strict and Impartial Investigations
We conduct in-depth investigations of any alleged violations that get reported to us. If the preliminary investigation finds probable cause of these complaints, our board holds a hearing to determine if any disciplinary action needs to be taken.
