Highly dedicated and results-driven, Gloria Banister is a renowned Ethics Administrator with over 16+ years of experience in driving new levels of pipeline efficiency, team unification, and overall organizational success. Motivated by moral compass leadership and positive ethics reform, Gloria holds an extensive understanding of the judicial sector ranging from clerical, government to paralegal relations. And to date, enjoys intertwining that history with her passion for ethic restoration to solidify progressive, integrity-rich futures for everyone involved.

As a Texas native born to Mexican immigrants, Gloria learned early on the innate value of perseverance and possessing a strong work ethic. With that as her foundation, Gloria began her career in 2006 as an Administrative Assistant with the Office of the Honorable State Court Chief Judge Ben W. Studdard. Later transitioning to the State Court Clerk's Office supporting various clerical roles, Gloria completed her Paralegal degree from Southern Crescent Technical College (4.0 cum laude) before returning to the Superior Court Clerk’s Office in 2019 as the Appeals Coordinator, Deputy Clerk IV, and Terminal Agency Coordinator within the criminal division. In addition, Gloria also attained certifications in Compliance & Record Management by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Training Division, all of which excelled her ability to maintain the records of the Henry County Board of Ethics as required by Article 4 of Chapter 18 of Title 50 of the O.C.G.A.

Overall, nothing makes Gloria happier than translating ethical visions into tangible realities, and doing so all while ensuring everyone across the organizational pipeline attains positive constructive experiences along the way. Between inviolable ethics integrations to win-win discourse remediations, Gloria takes pride in using the power of transparency and Board of Ethics goalposts to harvest mutually-beneficial paths forward. That, along with her entrusted reputation and motivating energy to optimize shared visions, is what positioned Gloria as a respected industry change agent – one who consistently strives to raise the bar for Henry County employees, the community, and the ethics landscape as a collective.

Gloria is always staying updated on the ever-evolving ethics progressions to not just meet expectations, but exceed them every time. But on the rare occasions when Gloria is not working or researching, you can often find her cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with friends, and being a proud wife, mother of four adult children, and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters.
