Dr. Samuel Valme is a community leader with an extensive background in leadership, public administration, and ethics compliance experience spanning more than 20 years. He holds a doctorate in public policy and administration with dual specializations in Local Government Management for Sustainable Communities and Public Management and Leadership, as well as an MBA in Conflict Negotiations and Management. Dr. Valme is also a retired Army veteran with 24 years of service. He currently works as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist for the Department of the Treasury Criminal Investigation.

Dr. Valme has several years of serving the Henry County community, taking on various roles as a past Leadership Henry Board of Directors member, and Stockbridge Youth Council Advisory Committee member amongst other boards and associations. His governance, ethics, and strategic planning skill set has been an asset to these organizations. Dr. Valme's years of dedicated public service and profound experience in ethical governance make him a stern advocate of upholding the highest standards of integrity for Henry County.
