Laurin “Brie” Smith
Laurin “Brie” Castellaw Smith is an eighth generation Henry Countian, and a ‘campmeeting cousin’ to many at Shingleroof’s annual Campmeeting.
She lives by her Alma Mater’s motto: Et docere et rerum enquirer causas - “To teach, to serve, and to inquire into the nature of things.” As an experienced paralegal, she is passionate about research. Self described as socially liberal yet fiscally conservative, she believes wisdom, justice, and moderation are the pillars of government.
Raised in the military town of Enterprise, Alabama, she considers childhood friends who had seen the world one of her greatest treasures. She has the utmost respect, and gratitude for our service members and their families.
Known by “Brie” to friends and family, her five year old son is her world. In her free time she enjoys being outside, visiting the beach, gardening, exploring historic places, and live music of all genres. Brie and her family live in McDonough, Georgia.
