Desmond A. McLain was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia in the Decatur area. In 2017, He, his wife, and two daughters relocated to the City of Hampton, located in Henry County. Mr. McLain is a former employee of the DeKalb County Government where he served 18 years with the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office and 3 1/2 years as an Investigator with the DeKalb County Magistrate Court Pretrial Division. Desmond was appointed to the City of Hampton Ethics Board from 2019 until 2021 and currently sits on the Hampton Development Authority Board. One thing that he believes in is "Service to All".
